John started singing at age three, so it is easy to tell where his heart is. He loves singing. His first group was started at age 15 where he played in local establishments mostly just for fun but he made a little money. Upon graduating from school he entered military service for six years in the U.S. Air Force. But he couldn't stay away from he loved even there. So he joined Highway Express, a country band that played in all the military clubs. He got out of service in 1992 to follow his dreams of being in a successful band, and to travel and play music for all to hear. "I hope someday I will make it big," John says . . . then he laughs. He knows how hard it is to make it in this industry if you don't know someone to help you along the way.

John has played guitar for the past 17 years. And has worked with and opened for so many people.

The list includes: Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, The Dixie Chicks, Terri Clark, Billy Dean, Martina McBride, George Jones, T. Graham Brown, Aaron Tippon, Radney Foster, Lila MacCann, Diamond Rio, Wynona Judd, Deanna Carter, and many others. These just to name a few.

"I only hope that one day I will be able to do this for a living, and be able to make a good living doing what I really love to do, but isn't that what everybody wants?" John says with a big grin.
